The Awe of God
The Astounding Way a Healthy Fear of God Transforms Your Life
Book by John Bevere
This is an incredible book that makes God deeply understandable. It bridges the gap between the mundane and the true sovereignty of God, inviting readers to pause and consider who God is and why He alone is worthy of being called God. This book presents God in a perspective that is awe-inspiring and worthy to behold.
Even Better Than Eden
How the Bible's Story Changes Everything About Your Story
Book by Nancy Guthrie
This was my first time reading a book by Nancy Guthrie, and within the first few pages, I was completely captivated. I could hardly put it down. Nancy has a beautiful way of taking biblical themes and expanding them with such depth, clarity, and insight that you feel fully immersed in the story she is painting.
Even Better Than Eden beautifully contrasts the Garden of Eden with the greater Eden we, as believers, are awaiting when Christ returns. It is thoughtful, theologically rich, and deeply encouraging—a book that leaves you reflecting long after you’ve finished reading.

Abide Women's Circle: Study Guide
A study on women who prayed and chose to Abide.

In the month of March, we launched Abide’s Women Circle with a weekly Bible study centered on women in the Bible who prayed. You can find the link here. Together, we explored the Lord’s Prayer found in the Gospel of Matthew 6:9–13 and uncovered six key components of prayer: the Person, Praise, Purpose, Petition, Pardon, and Protection.
This study guide was created to help women dive deeper into the lives of women in the Bible, understand their context in ancient biblical times, and reflect on how they approached prayer. As you journey through these stories, you will also discover which components of prayer were highlighted in their conversations with God. A beautiful reminder for us to learn, grow, and abide.

Living Beyond Offense
Doing the Hard Work of Forgiveness God's Way
Book by Yana Jenay Conner
This book is a gift to anyone learning to live beyond offense. Offense is unavoidable, but Yana beautifully explains what Shalom—Peace—looks like and what it means to live as a peacemaker. Matthew 5:9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” To live beyond offense and practice peace is to reflect the very character of God. This book will speak to your heart and help free you from the shackles of offense.
Twelve Ordinary Men
How the Master Shaped His Disciples for Greatness and What He Wants to do With You
Book by John MacArthur
Who were the 12 men Jesus chose to be part of His inner circle? Have you ever wondered what they were really like—their personalities, strengths, flaws, likes, dislikes, and what led them to follow Jesus? This book brings the disciples to life, showing us that they were ordinary men whom God called to do extraordinary things. Through their strengths and shortcomings, we see how God used them to spread the Gospel and lay foundations for the Christian faith. Their stories remind us that God can choose anyone to do remarkable things.
In His Image
10 Ways God Calls Us to Reflect His Character
Book by Jen Wilkin
In this book, we learn that being made in God’s image means reflecting the attributes He has revealed about Himself. We explore what it means to be holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise. God embodies each of these perfectly and simultaneously, and this book helps us understand how to reflect His character in our own lives. When we embrace this as God’s will for us, we become like mirrors of His light—shining His character into the world.
The Holiness of God
by RC Sproul
The holiness of God cannot be captured in a mere 216-page book, but R.C. Sproul does an incredible job of scratching the surface. He expands our understanding of God’s “otherness”—His complete and perfect separateness. God’s entire being is holy. Every attribute and characteristic is expressed through His holiness: His love is holy, His justice is holy, His mercy is holy, and His goodness is holy. All of Him is holy. Sproul does a remarkable job giving readers a glimpse into the purity and perfection of God’s holiness.

The Message of Ecclesiastes
Book by Derek Kidner
This book on Ecclesiastes completely changed my perspective on life! Not to be dramatic, but once you understand the point the author of Ecclesiastes is making, life as we know it begins to make so much more sense. “Vanity, vanity” is a theme Kidner emphasizes throughout the book. The book has a study-guide feel as he walks through Ecclesiastes, thoughtfully breaking down each passage and drawing out the author’s intended meaning. Kidner makes Ecclesiastes feel both accessible and deeply relevant.
Holier than Thou
How God's Holiness Helps us Trust Him
by Jackie Hill Perry
JHP does a beautiful job explaining God’s holiness in a way that is both poetic and profound. She traces God’s holiness from the Fall to redemption, capturing the depth and beauty of what holiness truly means. She builds a compelling case for why God can be trusted: because His holiness is perfect, His character is completely good, and He is incapable of being anything other than who He is. JHP moves beyond the archaic way many of us understand holiness and reveals it as good news. God’s holiness is not something to fear but something to honor, because His holiness provides a safety and security in Him that we cannot find anywhere else.
